Description

Belt a jacket and you get two garments for the price of one. Tied, this wraps at the waist and gives the hip length a defined shape; loose, the same jacket falls straight from the dropped shoulders and reads as something thrown on at the door.

How warm is it, and will it fit over a jumper?

The description says what the shell is and whether it is lined, quilted or fleece-backed, which is what determines warmth. Where a piece is cut oversized or with dropped shoulders to layer over a knit, that is stated.

How do I care for it?

The care label inside the garment is the authority for that fabric. As a rule: satin, chiffon and viscose prefer a cool, gentle wash or dry cleaning; cotton and linen are happy at 30°C. Hang to dry rather than tumble — it keeps the drape and the length.
