Description
Weight is what makes a cowl hang properly, and the ribbed lurex knit here has enough of it — the deep V gathers into soft folds that hold their drape instead of flattening against the chest as the evening goes on.
The rib runs horizontally across the body, so the texture catches light in lines while the metallic thread catches it in points. It fastens with a halterneck tie at the back of the neck, leaving the shoulders and back open, and crops just above the waistline for high-waisted bottoms.

Where a fabric is sheer we say so in the description — several of these are deliberately sheer chiffon, lace or mesh and are meant to be layered over a slip or a plain vest.

The care label inside the garment is the authority for that fabric. As a rule: satin, chiffon and viscose prefer a cool, gentle wash or dry cleaning; cotton and linen are happy at 30°C. Hang to dry rather than tumble — it keeps the drape and the length.
