Description

Aviator jackets were built around one problem, keeping warm in moving air, and the solutions are still what make them good. The faux shearling lining sits against you, the fold-over sherpa cuffs close the gap at the wrist, and the notched lapels can be turned up at the neck.

The outer is smooth, the front closes with buttons, and the side pockets are deep enough to be used properly. Cut relaxed and hip length, with room for a knit underneath. In brown, which is where this shape has always looked most at home.

How warm is it, and will it fit over a jumper?

The description says what the shell is and whether it is lined, quilted or fleece-backed, which is what determines warmth. Where a piece is cut oversized or with dropped shoulders to layer over a knit, that is stated.

How do I care for it?

The care label inside the garment is the authority for that fabric. As a rule: satin, chiffon and viscose prefer a cool, gentle wash or dry cleaning; cotton and linen are happy at 30°C. Hang to dry rather than tumble — it keeps the drape and the length.

How long does delivery take?
