Pleated Satin Halter Gown

Satin at floor length is mostly a question of how it falls, and an A-line is the shape that lets it fall properly - skimming the body rather than gripping it, so the sheen runs in unbroken lines to the hem.

The bodice is pleated, which breaks that sheen deliberately across the chest and adds texture where the light would otherwise be flattest. A halter neckline holds it and the back is left open. Six colours, and satin makes each behave differently: the navy and dark green go deep under low light, the yellow and pink stay bright.
