Description

The collar is set off centre, and that one decision does most of the work. An asymmetrical high neck breaks the vertical line a jacket usually draws down the front, so the eye travels on a diagonal instead — it makes a plain boxy shape look considered rather than plain.

Everything else is quiet on purpose: a concealed front fastening, decorative buttons, hip length, a soft wool blend with enough structure to hold the boxy line. It layers over a shirt or a fine knit without adding bulk at the shoulder.

How warm is it, and will it fit over a jumper?

The description says what the shell is and whether it is lined, quilted or fleece-backed, which is what determines warmth. Where a piece is cut oversized or with dropped shoulders to layer over a knit, that is stated.

How do I care for it?

The care label inside the garment is the authority for that fabric. As a rule: satin, chiffon and viscose prefer a cool, gentle wash or dry cleaning; cotton and linen are happy at 30°C. Hang to dry rather than tumble — it keeps the drape and the length.

How long does delivery take?
